What do you mean by resistant?
It means that you can hit the window as hard as you can with a baseball bat, a brick or a crowbar and not be able to get through the laminate.
What does it look like and how long does it last?
The laminate is available in light gray, dark gray, silver reflective, limo black, and clear. It is guaranteed in writing for life against peeling, yellowing, or delaminating. And, should it be necessary, it can be removed without trace. Clear laminate is basically invisible.
